Welcome to “The Boomer Broads”, new programming that will be for boomer women what ESPN is for sports fans. A community. A place to go to laugh, to learn, to whine a little, engage in spirited discussion and to share what it means to be a grown-up woman. We want our communications with our audience and this website to reflect what it’s really like when you get to a certain` point in life where you stop caring so much about what people think of you and start living life for yourself. A little like “The View,” but without Elisabeth! We’ll share jokes, concerns, problems, hopefully some solutions – and lots of fun. We’ll leave the politics and “issues” to others. We want to talk about everyday things, things that Baby Boomer women are dealing with in real life — second careers, third husbands, popular culture, travel, retirement, the empty nest, the growing waistline and of course, sex – is anyone having any?! We are two women-both boomers-both with enough attitude to pass around! We have been called sassy, brassy, frank and some things we can’t print! But never boring. Life is too short for boring! And, about the title: “Boomer BROADS” – we know some won’t like it. Call yourselves what you want-we like the word “broads”. We’re proud to be broads! But, as we said, we are at the stage of our lives where we don’t really care what you call us. We know who and what we are. Two broads. Two boomer broads with attitudes. So join us for the journey – share your stories, your ideas, your attitude-it’s the boomer broad revolution!
